Know as the 8 ton World Cruiser
Designed by William Crealock - Crealock has designed many fine blue water sailing vessels including the famous Westsail.
Many of the features of the Willard were designed as improvements from
the Westsail design. The hull is modeled after an ocean trawler build
to pound through weather and open ocean swell. This boat was designed
to sail any where in the world safely in as much sea kindly comfort as
possible.
For a 30 foot boat she boasts the room of a much larger boat. She is
build for blue water cruising and is often considered to be over build
for strength and durability. With her weight and full keel the Willard
30 may not be the fastest boat around but she will get you where you want go safely
with all the gear and provisions you need to carry. Also is a great SF bay cruiser, she can handle a lot of wind.
